Our mission

Altar Ego is a young adult ministry of Maranatha Christian Center, created to inspire and equip the next generation to live boldly for Christ. Led by a devoted team, our mission is to spark a lasting fire of faith in the hearts of teens and young adults—grounded in the call of Leviticus 6:12: “The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out.” Through real conversations, engaging Bible studies, local outreach, and global mission trips, we help young people navigate life’s transitions while discovering that following Jesus is not the end of fun—it’s the beginning of true purpose. Altar Ego exists to build community, deepen faith, and empower young believers to live unashamed and on fire for God.

Welcome to Ground Zero—the launch point of a new movement. In every story of transformation, there’s a moment when everything changes. This is ours. At Alter Ego, we believe that revival doesn’t start in a stadium—it starts in the hearts of individuals willing to burn bright for Christ. Ground Zero is about stripping away the noise, returning to the altar, and letting God ignite something fresh and powerful in us. This is more than a theme—it’s a call to rebuild from the inside out and carry a fire that never goes out.
